The transfer rate of 1 Gbps results in high-speed communications (controller-to-controller and controller-to-field device), thereby reducing operating cycle time.
The network, which accommodates general high-speed I/O control, can also accommodate control of distributed controllers in multiple fields, enabling simple network configuration.
