For harmonics, an active filter is installed in the electronic circuit for earth leakage detection. This excludes superimposed harmonics without impairing the detection of minute earth leakage signals in the fundamental frequency. For this reason, it is an earth leakage detection system that is resistant to the effects of harmonic earth leakage current.

For power surges, an original Mitsubishi DPDC surge identification circuit is used, preventing unnecessary activation caused by leakage current flowing to the surge absorber that is installed grounded to protect against induced surges and overvoltage without loss of ground fault current detection performance.
