Quickly resolve issues with effective diagnostic tools

Troubleshooting support tool

FR Configurator2

  • Función de gráfico

Utilize high-speed sampling to graphically display VFD data, improving analysis of problems and identification of root causes.

  • Trace functionNEW

VFD stores critical operating data like DC Bus voltage from the moments before a drive fault. The data can be uploaded for evaluation in a graphical format or shared with others. This enables a quick evaluation of the fault and rapid resolution.

Simple Upgrade from previous VFD models

FR Configurator2 (Convert function)

The parameter settings of the FR-D700 and FR-F700PJ (to be supported in April 2026) can be converted to FR-D800 parameters using FR Configurator2, simplifying replacement.

Input terminal filter

Input Filter (debouncing) smooths the input signal to ensure reliable operation of the VFD.

Cableado sencillo

Abrazaderas terminales de resorte

Las abrazaderas terminales de resorte se han adoptado como terminales de circuito de control para facilitar el cableado.

Operate during and/or recover from external challenges

Emergency drive (Fire mode) NEW

For critical operations during emergencies like a fire, the VFD can operate the motor, even if faults are detected, overriding protective functions.

  • *: This function is disabled in the initial status. To enable this function, set Pr.523 (Emergency drive mode selection).
  • *: Use of this function may damage the motor or VFD.
Utilice esta función solo para operaciones de emergencia.
La operación se puede cambiar a la operación con fuente de alimentación comercial ante la ocurrencia de una falla que puede causar daños al inversor.

Air handling system

Automatic restart after instantaneous power failure function

After an instantaneous power failure, the motor speed is detected upon power restoration, enabling a smooth restart from the coasting motor speed.

Power failure time deceleration-to-stop function

In the event of an instantaneous power failure or undervoltage, the motor can be decelerated or decelerated to a stop, and reaccelerated to the set frequency upon power restoration.
This avoids the danger caused by coasting during a power failure.
This function is effective for grinders with large inertia.
